Adult Summer Reading Club: June 12 – Aug. 25
Don’t let the kids have all of the fun this summer. It’s simple and fun to join our summer reading club and the chance to win weekly prizes. All you do is read or listen to a book, then fill out a paper slip and put it in the library box in the main room of the library. Also, don’t miss our summer party on Friday, August 25.

Learn from the Better Business Bureau, the signs of theft & what to do if you or someone you know becomes a victim of identity theft. Registration required.

Personal Care Choices - Tuesday, July 18 @ 6:30 pm
Kathy Dienert, Marketing Director from Norbert Personal Care facility will help us with information on how to choose a personal care home, including what to expect and how to make appropriate choices. Registration required.

Rain Barrel Workshop with Pennsylvania Resources Council
Wednesday, Aug. 2 @ 6:30 pm
Learn how to practice watershed protection and conservation in your own backyard. It’s easier than you think! When you attend the Pennsylvania Resources Council’s (PRC) workshop you will learn how to harvest rainwater from your roof, store it, and use it in your landscape.

PRC’s Celebrate the Rain! Watershed Awareness/Rain Barrel Workshop includes 90 minutes of instruction plus a FreeGarden RAIN 55-gallon, easy-to-install rain barrel.
Price: $80/person or $85 /couple

Composting Workshop with Pennsylvania Resources Council
Saturday, Aug. 5 @ 10:30 am

You will receive a composting bin at class! This workshop thoroughly covers the importance and benefits of composting, the process, setting up a compost pile, proper maintenance, and ways of using finished compost. Participants will receive a FreeGarden EARTH compost bin with attendance. This bin, ideal bin for urban and suburban areas, has an eighty-two-gallon capacity.

Cost: $70/individual or $75/couple including one compost bin.
