Join us for a first-hand look at our brand new library! Receive a tour, play in the new children’s area, try out the new furniture, see our teen area, check out books and movies, and relax in our beautiful, modern environment! Activities for children include face painting from 12-2 pm and make-and-take crafts from 10 am-2 pm!

Spring Travel Series
Join us as we “travel” to 5 locations around the world. No need for a passport, just show up and bring a friend, if you like. Light refreshments served. No registration required.

New Release Movie – Wednesdays @ 1 pm: April 10 & May 15 
Would you like to watch a new movie at the library?  It’s free and we’ll have light refreshments, too! Bring a few friends and have a relaxing time.  No registration required.

AARP Safe Driving Course – Wednesday, April 24 & Thursday April 25 @ 9 am – 1 pm
This two-day safe driving course is for anyone over the age of 50. You may be eligible for a discount from your car insurance company after completing it. Cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members, payable during the first class to the instructor.  Registration required. 

Attracting Butterflies and Hummingbirds to Your Garden with Susan Salis – Saturday, April 27 @ 1 pm

Butterflies and hummingbirds are both aesthetic and ecologically useful additions to the garden. What flowers and shrubs are butterfly and hummingbird magnets? This talk will focus on how the home gardener can attract a variety of butterflies, as well as the Ruby-throated hummingbird, the only hummingbird to nest east of the Mississippi River. Registration required.

Yoga with Marian Luisi  
Marian has been teaching yoga for more than 15 years. This is a vinyasa flow based class and she’ll mix it up each time so no one will be bored!  She will bring extra mats for those who need one.  Marian does the practice as she teaches it. This class is for anyone 18 years or older.  Beginners are welcome to join, as well. The class is donation-based and a $5 donation is suggested. Registration required. 

Walkie Talkies: Baldwin Library’s Walking Club – Mondays @ 9–9:45 am: May 6, 13, 20 & June 3, 10, 17, 24

Would you like to get your week off on the right foot? Your left foot, too? Come over to the library on Monday mornings for a casual walk around our new neighborhood. We have sidewalks! We’ll go if it rains or shines, but not during storms. No registration required.

Free Bingo Friday – Fridays @ 1 pm: April 19 & May 17
Four Corners? Small Diamond?  Postage stamp?  We’ll play 10 games for small prizes, with refreshments as well.  Bring some friends! No registration required. 


Anything Book Club
Would you like to join a book club that’s casual and fun? What do we read?  Anything!  Fiction and non-fiction alike.  No registration required. Thursdays @ 2 pm: 

Mystery Lovers Book Club – Wednesday, April 10 & April 24 @ 1 pm 

Do you love a good mystery?  Can’t wait to find out ‘whodunnit’? 

We have a great group that is looking to add others who like to talk about books.  No registration required.
