We are only a few months away from breaking ground on the new Baldwin Library! These last few months have been a whirlwind of behind the scenes work to get everything done in order to begin construction. Thanks to the generosity of Baldwin Borough officials, the Library has formally taken ownership of the Leland Center and its surrounding grounds. Fundraising continues, with a buy-a-brick campaign to be announced summer 2018. Construction plans have been finalized, and bids are being accepted by general contractors. The actual construction will begin in June 2018. Look for pictures, video and lots of updates on the construction process. We’ll also be hosting hard special hat tours for donors and community members.
Our formal groundbreaking event will be on June 8 @ 10am at Leland Center. Invitations and information will be forthcoming.
