Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Library! Volunteering is a valuable way to use your talents, learn new skills and meet new people, all while contributing to the education and literacy of the Baldwin Community.

The Library welcomes and encourages anyone to volunteer for the library. Volunteers provide essential support for daily library operations including assisting with programs and events, organizing materials, and keeping our library clean and inviting.

I’d Like to Volunteer!

Teen Volunteers

Every Summer, we have a special Teen Volunteering Program.  The Library invites 30-35 teens to volunteer their time for our summer reading program.  The program gives teens an opportunity to learn transferable work skills, give them a space to develop their personal skills, connect them to a cross-section of community members, and help prepare them for a productive and fulfilling adulthood.

The program is announced in he spring, and we hold a special training night in May where students have an opportunity to become familiar with all volunteer areas.

If you are a teen and interested in volunteering, fill out this form and return via email to  Youth Services Coordinator, Dolores Colarosa, colarosad@einetwork.net
