Children and Family Programs

Welcome Spring! We will be wrapping up our Spring programming in April and preparing a lot of fun programs for Summer during the month of May, so programming will be on a brief break in May. (We will be holding baby storytime at our Bouncing Babies and Books Program on May 5, May 19 and June 2). This summer’s reading theme is Oceans of Possibilities, and we’re planning a lot of fun ocean and water-themed programs for children and families! Look for Summer 2022 programs soon!

Through generous grant funding from the Jefferson Regional Foundation, we are proud to introduce our new early literacy Baldwin Birthday Boxes, geared to children newborn-age 2.Each box contains 2 board books, as well as other early literacy educational materials and supplies that are age-appropriate as your child learns and grows.

Beginning Monday, May 9, you will be able to either request a birthday box for your child via Google Form and library pickup, or stop in to the library to claim a birthday box for any child ages newborn-age 2 as of January 1, 2022.

Early literacy birthday boxes will be available as long as supplies last.
