“I would tell people to take advantage of the library because there’s nothing else in the
Pittsburgh area that you can do for your kids for free that has such great programming. We come to all of it.”
I think we just first started coming and then we got the newsletter. When we got the newsletter we realized how much stuff we could do at the library. Now every time we get the newsletter, I circle anything my kids are the appropriate age for. Then we get online and sign up for it.
My favorite thing is just having a place to bring my kids throughout the summer that will give them something to do – be around other kids that like to read…He’s (Lucas) really gone from a kid who occasionally liked to read when we read to him and ever since we started coming to the library, he is an avid reader. I think the library has made all the difference with that.”
